Thomas Simpson

Thomas Simpson, CPA, has extensive experience in the finance and insurance sectors, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Controller at Standard Insurance Company since July 2007. In addition to this role, Thomas has held positions such as Senior Director for Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy, Senior Director for Financial Planning & Analysis, Director of SEC Reporting, and focused on Investment Accounting and Statutory Reporting. Concurrently, Thomas has been the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Relay Resources since September 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Finance Manager, Financial Business Advisor, and work in claims at Nationwide Insurance from 1998 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Franklin University and an Associate of Science in Business from Monterey Peninsula College, along with certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
