Alex Kim

Alex Kim serves as the Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer at Standard BioTools since 2021. Previously, Alex held the position of Executive Vice President and President of the Healthcare Division at Milliken & Company from 2015 to 2021, overseeing full P&L responsibility. Other notable roles include Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Pall Corporation and Vice President of Business Development at Danaher Corporation, contributing significantly to M&A and corporate strategy initiatives. Early in the career, Alex worked as a Product Manager at Axicon Technologies and as a Lead Design Engineer at Westinghouse. Alex holds an MBA from Stanford University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
