Alex Puatu

Alex Puatu is an experienced IT and operations professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Director of IT Applications, Data Engineering, and PMO at Fluidigm Corporation since November 2021, Alex leads key initiatives in global ERP and Manufacturing systems as well as analytics practices. Previous experience includes a role as Program Manager at Edelman Financial Engines, where responsibilities encompassed operational and financial activities and the implementation of significant technology initiatives. As CTO at Plymouth Rock Studios, Alex managed technology design for a sustainable motion picture studio, while earlier positions included VP at Paramount Pictures and Network Systems Group, and Principal at Vertical Systems Corporation. Alex's career began at NASA JPL, focusing on systems and software engineering for spacecraft testing. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and English from UCLA.
