Isaac Herrera

Isaac Herrera has over a decade of experience in software product management and testing, currently serving as Software Product Owner and Director at Standard BioTools since October 2013, where previous roles included Senior Software Test Manager and Software Team Lead (Interim). Prior to this position, Isaac contributed to research as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, focusing on the development of metal chelating polymers and modern polymerization techniques. Additional research experience includes work at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research and the University of Texas at El Paso, where significant contributions were made in various experimental and computational chemistry projects. Isaac holds a Ph.D. in Polymers and Materials Chemistry from the University of Toronto, complemented by an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso.
