Antonio Key

Antonio Key is a co-founder and general partner at Sunset Ventures, an early-stage fund operating in San Francisco and Los Angeles since September 2022. Antonio Key is currently a Kauffman Fellow (Class 28) with Kauffman Fellows and serves as the VP of the Investment Committee for Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, a community focused on connecting Stanford alumni in the investment and entrepreneurial sectors. Previously, Antonio Key was the Director of Venture Investments at Samsung Next, where responsibilities included driving business development and executing venture capital investments in various sectors, including fintech, IoT, gaming, and blockchain. Prior experience also includes roles at Merrill Lynch as a Principal in Corporate Development & Venture Investments and as an Investment Banking Associate in the M&A Group, where support was provided for over $25 billion in M&A transactions. Antonio Key holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, & Society from Stanford University.
