Komal S. has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. In 1998, they worked as an Insurance Specialist for Dr. Atul S. Seth, where they registered and interviewed new patients, verified insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations, and informed patients of their payment responsibilities. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Provider Relations Specialist at Lifeguard Health Care, assisting with claim processing, maintaining MD credentials in the claims system, and preparing reports for provider visit presentations. From 2002 to 2011, they worked as a Patient Account Representative at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, where they handled insurance billing, validated charges and accounts, followed up on claims and collections with insurance and patients. In 2012, they were promoted to the role of Revenue Cycle - QA Lead, in which they supervised staff members, performed quality audits, monitored key performance indicators, provided quality reviews, trained and mentored patient accounts representatives, solved complex issues, and updated staff and departments on payer regulations.

Komal S. started their education in 1993 at J & J College of Science in Nadiad, India. Komal pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology, General and completed their studies in 1996. In 1997, they attended Careers for Business and Technology, where they studied Medical/Clinical Assistant for a year.
