Barbara White

Barbara White is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Marriage and Family Specialty at Menlo Park Private Practice since 1990, focusing on psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, particularly in marital therapy. Since 1987, Barbara has also served as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University Medical Center, engaging in teaching, supervision, and being an active member of the Clinical Faculty Advisory Council and the Psychiatry Selection Committee. Previously, from 1984 to 1997, Barbara worked at the Family Program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto, California, holding roles as Senior Supervisor and Director of Training, where responsibilities included teaching, supervision, research, clinical services, program development, and grant writing. Barbara earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in History and Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
