Gordon Gao

Gordon Gao is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Stanford Health Care since March 2019, Gordon has previously held the position of Lead Software Engineer at OCLC from January 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, Gordon worked as a Senior Software Developer at CAS from June 1998 to January 2018 and as a consultant at Alcatel-Lucent in 1997-1998. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in computer science from Kent State University (1990-1992), a master's degree in philosophy from Nanjing University (1985-1988), and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Nanjing University (1981-1985).
