Julia Vu is a dedicated undergraduate researcher and leader in bioengineering at Stanford University, where current roles include Chromatin Biology Undergraduate Researcher in the Gozani Lab and Practice of Medicine Year 2 Lead Patient Finder. Julia's research experience encompasses evaluating biochemical mechanisms related to cancer growth and metabolic health, as well as leading initiatives in synthetic biology as President of the Stanford iGEM team. Additional roles involve serving as a co-founder of Xerma Therapeutics to address dermatological treatment gaps and as a Director of Operations for Stanford Emergency Medical Services. Julia has also contributed to clinical research, operational efficiency in healthcare settings, and participated in drug discovery and development projects.
