James Choi

James Choi currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Accounting & Finance at Stanford Hotels since December 2024. Prior to this role, James was the Chief Financial Officer at Polaris Real Estate Partners from August 2023 to November 2024. James has extensive experience in construction and development accounting, having held various positions at Kilroy Realty Corporation from 2014 to 2023, including Vice President. James also served as Controller at Ohana Real Estate Investors and held similar roles at Inland Real Estate Development Corporation and Kenar Homes. Early in the career, James worked as a Senior Auditor at McGladrey & Pullen and as a Staff Accountant at Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C. James Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University between 1995 and 1999.
