Fernando de Jesus Gutierrez Amaya is a maritime professional with extensive experience in offshore operations and maritime safety. Currently serving as the International Development and National Affairs Secretary for The Nautical Institute Mexico Branch since May 2025, Fernando contributes to promoting standards of professionalism in the maritime industry. Prior roles include Chief Officer SDPO/SSO at Stanford Marine, focusing on platform supply and multi-purpose offshore operations in Mexico and Qatar, and previous positions as Chief Officer and Second Mate in various companies where Fernando managed platform supply, diving support operations, and cable laying activities. Fernando holds a Bachelor's in Nautical Science and Marine Transportation from Escuela Nautica Mercante Cap. de Alt. Fernando Siliceo y Torres, obtained in 2015.
