Alan Chang

Alan Chang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Stanford DCI Fellow at Stanford University since January 2022, Alan is also a board member at the Environmental Law & Policy Center. Previously, Alan held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Builders Asset Management from March 2018 to December 2021, contributing to investment strategy and leadership. Alan's earlier roles include being a partner and managing director at Capricorn Investment Group for 15 years, and involvement as an investor in multiple companies from 2015 to 2018. Alan's academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSE from Duke University, with dual majors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as Art History.
