Andy Y.

Andy Y. is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics at Stanford University, having commenced in September 2022. Prior to this, Andy worked as a Qubit Architect at Quantum Brilliance, where responsibilities included developing quantum architecture documentation. Andy's research experience includes a Summer Research Internship at The Australian National University under the supervision of Prof. Peter Bouwknegt. Additionally, Andy has served as a Columnist for Woroni, writing about science, technology, and mathematics, and has held demonstrator positions in undergraduate mathematics courses. Prior internships and roles include a Winter Intern position and a Peer-Assisted Learning Mentor at The Australian National University, as well as a Gallery Assistant role at Evergreen Exhibitions during the 'Maths Alive' exhibition. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The Australian National University, and participated in an exchange program at the University of Toronto in 2019.
