Austin Sendek

Austin Sendek is the Founder and CEO of Aionics, Inc., a position held since June 2020. Additionally, Austin serves as an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University, instructing Materials Science and Engineering 331: Computational Materials Science at the Atomic Scale and mentoring numerous undergraduate, master's, and doctoral research theses. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University from March 2019 to March 2021 and Guest Lecturer at Columbia University from January 2019 to December 2020. Austin completed a Ph.D. in Applied Physics at Stanford University from 2013 to 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, with an emphasis on chemical physics, from the University of California, Davis, from 2008 to 2012.
