Ayodele Thomas, PhD, currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost for IDEAL Advancement at Stanford University, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to enhance inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in academic environments. With a strong background in educational leadership, Ayodele has held multiple positions at Stanford, including Associate Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, and has provided guidance on graduate education and diversity programs as Associate Dean. Additionally, Ayodele is the Executive Director of the Greene Scholars Program and has previously held roles in the California Alliance of African American Educators, as well as internships at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. Ayodele holds both a Master’s and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
