Ben Moreno

Ben Moreno serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at Stanford University since January 2011, overseeing multiple finance operating units with disbursements totaling $2.2 billion. Previously, Ben held the position of Vice President at Eaton Vance Management, where responsibilities included Corporate Services Operations and market data management in financial services. As the CEO and Founder of Qambio, Ben focused on fundraising and product development in the startup sector for adoption philanthropy. Other significant roles include Head of Operations at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Director of Operations at Select Inc., and Technology Operations at CSC, contributing extensive expertise in procurement and supply chain management from both the private sector and military service in the United States Air Force. Ben holds a degree from the Stanford d.School Program in Design Thinking and a technical certification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the United States Air Force.
