Chris Rishel

Chris Rishel currently serves as the Vice President of Product and Clinical Innovation at PASCALL SYSTEMS INC. since May 2024. Simultaneously, Chris holds positions at Stanford University, including Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Instructor, and Postdoctoral Fellow since July 2016, following a residency in Anesthesiology. Chris co-founded WikiAnesthesia in May 2018, taking on the roles of Editor-in-Chief and Chief Technology Officer. Prior experience includes a residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Chicago from January 2009 to June 2016, where Chris also acted as Webmaster. At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Chris worked as a Lead Developer for The Archon Project and previously served as Systems Administrator and MCAT Teacher, reflecting a strong background in both clinical practice and technology. Educational qualifications include an MD/PhD in Computational Neuroscience from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a B.S. in Computer Science and Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
