Chunyang Ding

Graduate Student Researcher

Chunyang Ding is currently a Graduate Student Researcher at Stanford University, focusing on fluxonium qubits in Professor David Schuster's superconducting circuits lab. Previously, Chunyang served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Chicago, contributing to superconducting quantum computing under the same professor. Chunyang has also held positions as a Committee Member for the City of College Park's Committee for a Better Environment, an Associate Physicist at IonQ Inc. working on trapped ion quantum computers, and various research assistant roles at Yale University in multiple labs. With a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Yale University and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Chicago, Chunyang is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics at Stanford University. Notable leadership experiences include serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Scientific Magazine and directing speakers for the Ivy Leadership Summit.
