Dan King

Assistant Dean, Graduate Financial Support & Academic Systems at Stanford University

As assistant dean of graduate financial support and academic systems, Dan provides guidance and training to department staff in the areas of graduate financial policy, graduate aid systems, multi-year student budgeting, and graduate aid reporting. He also serves as a resource for university academic systems, collaborating with various campus offices on enhancements and advocating for changes to meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students.

Prior to joining H&S, Dan was the student services manager for the Department of Biology, managing all aspects of the postdoctoral, graduate, and undergraduate programs. Before coming to Stanford, he worked in the registrar’s office at Azusa Pacific University, where he also graduated with a degree in media studies.
