David Larcker

Senior Faculty, Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford

David Larcker is the James Irvin Miller Professor of Accounting at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where they have actively engaged in research focused on executive compensation, corporate governance, and managerial accounting since 2005. They have held previous academic positions as Professor of Accounting and Information Systems at J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Currently, they lead the Corporate Governance Research Initiative, aimed at advancing understanding and bridging theory and practice in the field. With ongoing projects exploring the valuation implications of corporate governance and the role of the business press, Larcker continues to contribute significantly to the discourse on executive leadership and compensation.
