Dong Su is a Professor at Stanford University, where they have taught since 1997 and currently focus on experimental particle physics research, particularly on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. Since 2006, Dong has also served as the Head of the ATLAS Department at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, contributing to searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model. Prior to these roles, they were a Research Associate at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory from 1988 to 1993, involved in heavy flavor physics. Dong earned a Ph.D. and BSc in Physics from Imperial College London between 1980 and 1987.
