Eli Weiss

Eli Weiss is an experienced leader in MOCVD process engineering, currently serving as the MOCVD Process Engineering Manager at Stanford University since October 2024. Prior to this role, Eli worked at Coherent Corp. from January 2007 to October 2024, advancing through various positions including Senior Engineering Manager, where Eli managed the MOCVD Engineering Group, and Process and Equipment Engineering Manager, where Eli led the startup of a new MOCVD and MBE epitaxy facility. Eli's earlier experience includes roles as Reliability and Failure Analysis Manager at Coherent Corp., Senior Epitaxy Engineer at Novalux, and Process Engineer at Intevac. Eli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
