Haley So is a doctoral researcher at Stanford University, specializing in Electrical Engineering with a focus on computational imaging, under the guidance of Professor Gordon Wetzstein. Haley has held various internships, including positions at Splunk as a Software Engineering Intern, the Institute for Quantum Computing as an Undergraduate Researcher, and Facebook as a Data Science/Engineering Intern. Additional experiences include an Optoelectronics Internship at Sandia National Laboratories and work with Google in a Hardware Product Sprint. During undergraduate studies at Columbia University, Haley served as a research assistant, took on a teaching assistant role in Computer Science, and led the Women in Computer Science organization. Haley also interned in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley and is currently involved as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta, focusing on lightweight machine learning algorithms for burst super-resolution. Haley holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and is pursuing a PhD at Stanford University from 2020 to 2025.
