Jack Rose

Postdoctoral Fellow

Jack Rose is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University since September 2019, working under the supervision of Howard Chang. Prior to this position, Jack Rose was an MSTP Trainee and Graduate Student at the University of Washington from September 2010 to June 2019, where research focused on engineering molecular rheostats for RAS signaling and CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing under advisor Dustin Maly. Earlier research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in the Branimir Sikic Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine from June 2008 to August 2009, concentrating on taxane resistance in breast and ovarian cancers, and as a Research Intern in the Boris Pasche Lab at Northwestern University. Jack Rose holds an MD and PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, an MPhil in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge, and a BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
