Jon Stingel

Jon Stingel is an accomplished analyst in residence at HealthTech Capital since October 2022, specializing in due diligence and portfolio management for early-stage investments in medical and health-tech companies. As a PhD candidate and research scientist at Stanford University, Jon focuses on biomechanics and the application of engineering concepts to enhance human movement, with interests in wearable technologies and assistive devices. Previous experience includes mechanical engineering research at Georgia Institute of Technology, reliability engineering at LG Fuel Cell Systems, tutoring at the University of Mount Union, and various internships in mechanical engineering. Jon holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering/Bioengineering from Stanford University, expected to be completed in December 2024, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
