Jonathan Bessette is a highly experienced researcher and engineer with a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Global Engineering and Research Center since July 2020, Jonathan also holds the position of Visiting Researcher at Stanford University. Previous experience includes internships at Moog Inc. and Corning Incorporated, as well as a research assistant role at the University at Buffalo, where Jonathan explored mechanical design theory and automation. Jonathan has been involved in various educational initiatives, serving as a Teaching Assistant and leading alternative spring break trips for community service. Jonathan's strong foundation in mechanical engineering is supported by a Master of Science from MIT and a Bachelor of Science from the University at Buffalo.
