Liisi Esse is a distinguished academic and administrator specializing in Estonian and Baltic studies. Currently serving as Curator for Estonian and Baltic Studies at Stanford University since January 2013, Liisi also holds the position of Administrative Executive Director at the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies since April 2019. Additionally, Liisi is the Reviews Editor for the Journal of Baltic Studies from April 2017 to December 2024. Previously, Liisi worked as a Project Manager at the National Archives of Estonia from June 2010 to January 2013.
