Markus Zechner

Markus Zechner is a seasoned professional in energy resource engineering with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University since July 2019 and as an Advisor at OMV, Markus previously held the position of Reservoir Engineer at OMV from January 2008 to August 2013. Markus completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Resource Engineering at Stanford University from 2013 to 2019, and holds two Master of Science degrees, one from the Colorado School of Mines and another from Montanuniversität Leoben, where Markus also earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
