Matthew Ricks

Matthew Ricks, CBCP, serves as the Senior Director of IT Facilities Infrastructure & Resilience and Senior Director of IT Facilities Management and Business Continuity Management at Stanford University since August 2008, following a distinguished 20-year career at Sun Microsystems where key roles included Senior Director of IT Vendor Management Office and Program Director of IT Outsourcing. Ricks holds a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security from Penn State University, an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Additional studies have been pursued through Stanford Continuing Studies, Coursera, FEMA's Emergency Management Institute, and DRI International.
