Max Saccone is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the DeSimone Group at Stanford University since September 2022. Previously, Max served as a Ph.D. Candidate and Resnick Graduate Research Fellow in Chemical Engineering at Caltech from September 2017 to June 2022, while also working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Max gained experience in battery materials characterization during a brief stint at Apple in 2020. At Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering, Max was a Sonnerup Fellow conducting an honors thesis on sulfur speciation in sodium-sulfur batteries and served as a teaching assistant for various engineering courses. Additional research experience includes time as a Research Assistant at MIT focusing on energy storage devices and computational modeling. Max holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and a dual degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.
