Robert Daines is currently a Professor of Law and Business at Stanford University, holding the position since July 2004, where Robert also serves as Associate Dean and Pritzker Professor of Law and Business, in addition to being a courtesy Professor of Finance at the Graduate School of Business. Prior to this role, Robert Daines was a Professor of Law at New York University from January 1997 to July 2004, and has held visiting academic positions at Yale Law School and Columbia University. Robert Daines began a career in investment banking as an Associate at Goldman Sachs from July 1993 to December 1996. Robert Daines earned a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School between 1989 and 1992 and holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Economics from Brigham Young University, obtained from 1982 to 1989.
