Ryan Pierce

Ryan Pierce is a seasoned professional in the medical technology sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Nine since 2015 and as a Venture Partner at Medtech Convergence Fund since 2020. In addition, Ryan has been a Lecturer in the Department of Bioengineering at Stanford University since 2010, where responsibilities include co-instructing the course on Medical Device Innovation. Previous roles include Entrepreneur in Residence at Rock Health from 2013 to 2020, Vice President of Design and Innovation at Ventus Medical, and Vice President of Business Development at Loma Vista Medical. Ryan's early career includes working at De Novo Ventures as a Venture Associate and at Concentric Medical as a Project Manager. Ryan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
