Sam Steinhardt

Sam Steinhardt holds the position of Assistant Vice President for University IT Strategic Initiatives at Stanford University since October 1999, with a focus on finance, vendor management, strategic planning, service management, and communications. Prior roles at Stanford include Executive Director of Business Services and Executive Director of the Stanford Center for Innovations in Learning, as well as COO of Learning Technology and Extended Education. Earlier career experience includes serving as CFO at Context Integration from 1996 to 1998 and VP of Quality at Charles Schwab in 1990-1991. Sam Steinhardt earned a BA in Philosophy from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
