Serge Plotkin

Serge Plotkin is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as CTO and VP Engineering at Engageli, a company focused on creating engaging interactive classrooms, since June 2020. In addition to this role, Plotkin has been a Venture Partner at Opus Capital since 2006 and holds positions as Emeritus Faculty and Faculty at Stanford University since 1988. Previously, Plotkin was the Chief Scientist at EduNav from August 2017 to December 2021 and served as VP Engineering, CTO, and co-founder of Decru, a pioneering storage security company, from 2001 until its acquisition by NetApp in 2005. Plotkin earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1985 and 1988.
