Sherry Y.

Sherry Y. is a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at Stanford University, engaged in research at the Stephen Montgomery Lab, focusing on applying GWAS for clinical diagnostics. As a board member and marketing director for the Stanford Healthcare Design Challenge since January 2024, Sherry also contributed to a NEXT award-winning cancer immunotherapy project at the Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign in late 2024. Previous experiences include a research role at the Califano Lab, where Sherry refined algorithms for gene regulatory network reconstruction, and collaboration with NASA during an internship at Weill Cornell Medicine, aimed at reducing cancer risks for astronauts. Sherry held leadership as president of In Transcription and completed internships at IQVIA Asia Pacific and Illumina. Sherry holds a BA in Biology and Statistics from Columbia University.
