Stacy Peña

Stacy Peña is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Communications for Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University since January 2023. Previously, Stacy held the role of Director of Communications at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) from March 2020 to January 2023, overseeing all communications efforts for the institute. As the owner of Rainmaker Communications from March 2000 to February 2020, Stacy developed communications strategies for technology companies and venture capitalists, with notable experience supporting Apple's People organization and Search Ads sales team. Other roles include PR Director for IBM's Consumer Division, Director of Corporate Communications at The Learning Company, and Sr. Account Executive at Thomas Associates. Stacy holds a BA in Rhetoric and Communications with an English minor from the University of California, Davis.
