Steve Bean

Steve Bean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in web development and digital media. Currently serving as the Web Services Manager at Stanford University since February 2008, Bean oversees the web services team for the Offices of Undergraduate Admission, Financial Aid, and Visitor Information Services, following a role as the primary web developer for the same offices. Previous experience includes web development at Emory University and application development at Norfolk Southern, where responsibilities spanned from supporting complex database systems to network engineering. Bean’s early career featured roles in medical photography and digital imaging, showcasing a strong foundation in visual media that began as a photojournalist in the United States Air Force.
