Bonnie Steiner

Bonnie Steiner, a US lawyer with more than 30 years of experience, is a Partner in the multi- family office Stonehage Fleming. She advises families and companies on structuring, succession planning and corporate governance and sits on the board of a number of companies, charitable foundations and trusts. She is co-chairperson of the Swiss branch of the Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a frequent contributor of articles to professional journals.

Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming she worked for PWC in Zurich advising on international corporate matters, was an adjunct professor of law on the MBA program at Webster University and from 2000 to 2010 she practiced law at Schellenberg Wittmer, Geneva where she advised families and businesses on cross border estate planning.

Before moving to Europe in 1998 Bonnie was a partner at a U.S. law firm where she practised international maritime shipping law representing clients such as Lloyds of London and the Institute of London underwriters.

Bonnie Steiner holds four degrees, including a Juris doctor and LLM in Admiralty from Tulane University.
