Joseph Akpovi, CSCP, CLTD, is a seasoned academic and professional in logistics and supply chain management, with significant contributions at Modesto Junior College since August 2015 as the Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, where Joseph established the department and developed various programs and curricula. Concurrently, Joseph has served as an Operations Management Adjunct Professor at California State University, Stanislaus, since 2003, teaching upper division courses. Prior professional experience includes serving as Inventory Control Manager at Del Monte Foods, Inc., from 2008 to 2015, overseeing inventory accuracy and warehouse management, and as Inventory Control Team Leader at E&J Gallo Winery from 1998 to 2008. Joseph began the career as a Bank Officer at Bank of Africa - Benin from 1990 to 1995. Joseph holds an MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Ecole Nationale d'Administration - Universite Nationale du Benin.
