Umar Ghuman

Umar Ghuman serves as the Director of the Online Bachelor's in Leadership Studies, Professor of Public Administration, and Director of the Master in Public Administration (MPA) program at California State University, Stanislaus since 2018. Previously, Umar held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution from June 2012 to April 2017, where extensive teaching and curriculum development were undertaken. Umar has contributed to the field through scholarly work, including published articles and presentations at various conferences. Additional roles include service on academic committees and consulting for organizations in California. Prior experience includes teaching at Florida Atlantic University and managing sales at Regions Bank. Umar earned a PhD in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University between 2005 and 2010.
