Shannon McDevitt

Shannon McDevitt is a seasoned professional in the field of material innovation and product development, currently serving as a Senior Innovation CMF Engineer at Stanley 1913 since January 2024. Previously, Shannon held the position of Head of Material Innovation at ROOM from June 2022 to December 2023 and served as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Herman Miller for eight years. Early career experiences include roles as a Product Design Intern at Jail Education Solutions, a Development Engineering Technician at First Solar, a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, and an Exhibit Content Intern at the Detroit Science Center. Shannon holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Design and Innovation from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Michigan.
