Jerry Oshesky

Jerry Oshesky, P.E. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Jerry began their career in 1982 at the Florida Department of Transportation, where they held various positions and gained valuable experience in roadway design, value engineering, and structural analysis. From 1990 to 1995, they worked at Sverdrup Corporation as a Senior Transportation Engineer, overseeing transportation projects throughout the state. Jerry then joined Leon County Public Works as the Chief of Engineering Design for a year before moving on to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. At the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Jerry served as the Chief of the Bureau of Design and Recreation Services, managing a team and a budget for the improvement of the Florida State Park System. Following this, they worked at Edwards and Kelcey as a Senior Transportation Manager and then transitioned to Michael Baker International as an Assistant Vice President. At Michael Baker International, they served as the National Practice Lead for Program Management and played a pivotal role in business development in the Florida unit. Most recently, they joined Stanley Consultants as a Project Principal, showcasing their leadership and expertise in global engineering.

Jerry Oshesky, P.E. obtained a Highschool Diploma from Zweibrucken American Highschool, Zweibrucken Germany in 1976. Jerry then went on to earn a BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, graduating in 1982. In terms of professional certifications, Jerry obtained a Florida Professional Engineer license in 1987, an Alabama Professional Engineer license in 1993, and a Georgia Professional Engineer license in 2013.
