Mathieu Lips has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities.

MATHIEU started their career as a System Engineer at Alstom Transport, where they worked on implementing an Automatic Train Control system for the Singapore North/East line, gaining valuable experience in automated transportation systems.

MATHIEU then joined Groupe Renault, where they held several roles over the course of 18 years. MATHIEU became a System Engineer and worked on the development of adaptive cruise control systems for vehicles. Later, they became a Team Leader, managing a team responsible for the design and development of vehicle access control systems. MATHIEU then took on the role of Team Chief, overseeing the electric/electronic engineering for vehicles and deployment of validation methods. MATHIEU further progressed to become the Engineering Department Head for lighting, including electric/electronic commands and displays.

In 2015, Mathieu led a major project at Groupe Renault as the Project Director of the Renault Symbioz democar, an electric, connected, and autonomous vehicle. MATHIEU successfully managed an agile team to deliver an autonomous driving Level 4 demonstration in real traffic conditions within a tight timeframe of less than 2 years.

After their successful tenure at Groupe Renault, Mathieu joined Stanley Robotics in 2019 as the Vice-President of Engineering. MATHIEU provided leadership to Stanley Robotics' tech teams and became a member of the company's executive committee. In 2022, they were promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Mathieu's extensive work experience and diverse roles make him a valuable asset in leading and managing complex projects and teams in the tech and automotive industry.

Mathieu Lips earned their Engineering degree in Automated Systems Engineering from CentraleSupélec from 1993 to 1996. In 2015, they attended INSEAD, where they completed the CEDEP-GMP General Management Program, focusing on executive leadership.
