Dagem Dereselign

Dagem Dereselign is an experienced professional in the field of automation and control engineering, currently serving as an Industry 4.0 and IIOT Consultant at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology in Ethiopia since October 2021. Concurrently, Dagem holds the position of Sr. Advanced Controls Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where responsibilities include developing standard approaches for Connected Factory initiatives and providing expertise in SCADA Industrial Control systems and PLC programming. Previous roles include Sr. Automation Control Engineer at Corning Incorporated, Controls and Automation Engineer at ALEVO, and Robotics Engineer at The Research Triangle Park. Dagem began a professional career as an Assistant Lecturer at Adama Technical College. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology from Adama Science and Technology University, further studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and advanced education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
