John Cowley

John Cowley is an experienced executive in the power tools industry, currently serving as President for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. since June 2010. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Black & Decker from July 2000 to June 2010, including General Manager for the UK & ROI and Commercial Director for DEWALT. John’s earlier career included a position as National Sales Manager at Virginia Abrasives Corporation from September 1997 to July 2000. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University, which was completed between 1992 and 1996.
