Ricardo Munoz

Ricardo Munoz currently serves as the SVP and Chief Engineering and Technology Officer for Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., overseeing tools and outdoors since December 2023. Prior to this role, Munoz held several leadership positions at Otis Elevator Co., including Senior Vice President of Engineering, where the global engineering function was led for a major player in the elevator and escalator industry. Munoz's tenure in engineering leadership also includes significant roles at Carrier Corporation, where strategic development in air conditioning and refrigeration systems was directed, and at United Technologies Research Center, managing advanced R&D programs. Munoz holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University, an Executive MBA from TRIUM Global Executive MBA, and a certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Systems Design and Management.
