Samiksha Maharaj

Samiksha Maharaj is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Legal Advisor at STANLIB since June 2021, previously holding the same title at Sanlam Capital Markets from July 2014 to May 2021. Expertise includes collaborating with diverse stakeholders for investment structuring, negotiating deal and term sheets, reviewing financial documentation, and monitoring transaction conditions. Prior to this, Samiksha worked as a Legal Advisor at FNB Wealth from September 2012 to June 2014, managing legal aspects for the Wealth and Investment Product House and overseeing projects like the implementation of FNB Securities’ Global Trading Platform. Samiksha holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand and an LLM in Corporate Law from the University of Johannesburg.
