Welile Masondo

Welile Masondo currently serves as the Head of Operations for Infrastructure Investments at STANLIB since May 2020. Previously, Welile held the position of Fund Accountant at Vantage Capital from March 2017 to March 2020. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Manager at PwC South Africa from January 2013 to August 2016, focusing on auditing within the Telecommunications and Hospitalities sectors. Welile began a professional path as an Article Trainee, gaining experience in various industries including Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Events and Marketing, and Higher Education, completing all requirements to register as a CA(SA). Educational qualifications include a BCom Hons and Certificate of Theory in Accounting from the University of Pretoria obtained in 2012, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting from the same institution acquired in 2011. Early education was completed at Christian Brothers' College Mount Edmund Pretoria from 1996 to 2008.
