Shawn Britt

Shawn Britt has extensive experience in education, serving in various leadership roles at Stanly County Schools since August 1996, including Chief Technology Officer, Director of Instructional Technology, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher. Additionally, Shawn Britt has military experience as a Soldier with the North Carolina National Guard from November 2001 to November 2004 and active duty with the US Army in Kuwait and Iraq from January 2003 to February 2004. Shawn Britt holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Wingate University, obtained between 2008 and 2011, a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (1993-1995), and an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Central Piedmont Community College (1991-1993).
