Akram Botrous

Akram Botrous, PhD, PE, BCEE, is a Senior Process Engineer at Stantec since September 2010, with a strong background in environmental engineering. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Process Engineer at ECO:LOGIC Engineering from September 2005 to September 2010, and Environmental Engineer at BG Consultants from September 2003 to August 2005. Botrous began academic involvement as a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from September 1999 to August 2003, and served as a Research Assistant at UNESCO-IHE from October 1997 to August 1999. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a M.S. in Sanitary Engineering from UNESCO IHE, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cairo University.
